Healthy Habits

Addy and Luke have been wanting to go work out with Scott for a while.  Today was their lucky day.  They took a backpack with extra things to do, but they didn't need it.  I was told all about the fun workout.  They did the treadmill, stair stepper, and box jumps.  Luke walked on the treadmill for 20 minutes.  Then he did the most box jumps.  In his words, "I did more than Daddy AND Addy." Addison spent her time on the treadmill and stair stepper and finished off with some box jumps.  She sweat so much her shirt was even wet!


 When they got home they wanted to fix a healthy lunch.  First Addy made herself some chocolate milk.  Actually, chocolate milk is the best post workout drink! 
You can see what we have been using for a refrigerator the past few weeks.  Our new one should be delivered any time!

 Addy's lunch consisted of a tortilla, cheese, carrots, and almond slivers.
We are using paper plates because we currently have no dishwasher, stove, or water in our kitchen!

Luke decided to melt cheese with some ham in a tortilla and have carrots and apples on the side.

Isn't it amazing how working out makes you healthier all the way around?
After lunch their question was, "When can we go running with you mama? I wake up really really early!"
