Scott, Addy, and Luke went down to Farlington Lake to celebrate Great Grandma Betty's 90th birthday party. Brooke was coughing a lot so I stayed home with her and Chloe. We were sad to miss out on the fun, but the others had a great time.
There was birthday cake and ice cream. Here is Luke Marshall and Luke Marshall sitting together. Our Luke is only 2 weeks older.
The next day we watched Papa Mike cut some wheat. He said it was the best wheat he has ever cut. Luke was eager to ride, so we went home while he stayed and "farmed." He started riding at 1:30 and didn't come home until 6:30. He was determined to finish the field. He was so excited that he learned how to raise and lower the header of the combine. He is always asking questions and learns something new about farming each time he rides.
We went to the field to have a picnic lunch. My grandparents joined us. It was a beautiful July day in the 80's.
On the way home from the 90th birthday party for Grandma Betty, Scott and the kids stopped in Fredonia to visit Grandma Judy and Grandpa Bill. They tried to shoot the potato gun, but I guess they didn't have much luck.
